Finsia’s Strategic Direction 2010 – 2014

2010 will be a significant year at Finsia, marking the beginning of a period of great transformation for our organisation.

We have been carefully re-evaluating our role in best serving our members and the Australasian financial services industry as a whole. The events of the past 18 months have emphasised the necessity for new industry and member imperatives. During this time we completed extensive research and have formed a new set of priorities reflecting the changing needs and aspirations of our members.

Key amongst these is the importance of building more meaningful structures to support the professional standing and career advancement of our members.

Of course, we will also continue to enhance our range of established member services in light of our new findings. Concurrently, as the only industry-wide professional body in Australasia, Finsia has a critical and unique role to play in addressing financial crisis-induced damage to communal and government perceptions about the sector.

We are delighted to share our changing direction and our core organizational objectives with you along with a summary of some of the important new initiatives we will implement to support the interests of our members and the broader industry through the coming decade.
