Finsia Hugh DT Williamson Performance Scholarship

Finsia’s Hugh DT Williamson Performance Scholarship is the result of a bequest honouring Hugh DT Williamson CBE, past president of the Bankers Institute and a former General Manager at ANZ.

The purpose of the scholarship is to acknowledge exceptional performance and achievement made by an individual within the financial services industry. The person to whom the scholarship is awarded will be an outstanding and respected individual within the industry, who has aspirations to achieve and perform at the highest level, and who is capable of promoting leadership and inspiring fellow Finsia members and others within the industry. Suitable candidates will be those who are in or who aspire to senior leadership roles within the industry.

Please note that the scholarship is only available to Finsia members.

The scholarship will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Professional contribution
  • Environmental, social and governance contributions
  • Leadership

The successful applicant can choose to use the scholarship towards the cost of attending any leadership or professional development program, anywhere in the world. The total value of the scholarship is $16,500 to include airfares, accommodation, and registration costs. These funds can be used as a contribution if the enrolment fees are of a higher value.
