What happens after I receive notification that I am to be awarded the FSP?
On successful completion of the FSP, candidates receive the FSP credential certificate and are entitled to use the FSP designation. The credential is conferred by Finsia at a ceremony to mark FSP graduation. The FSP is a lifetime credential provided graduates remain Finsia members and comply with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
What are the ongoing requirements to maintain the FSP credential?
FSP graduates are required to undertake a minimum of 120 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) over a rolling three-year period, with a minimum in each year of 20 hours. At least 10 hours must be structured, relevant training each year.
FSP credentialed professionals must maintain their Finsia membership and adhere to Finsia’s Code of Ethics.
