Recognising exceptional performance
Now in its ninth year, Finsia's Hugh DT Williamson Performance Scholarship acknowledges exceptional performance and achievement made by an individual within the financial services industry.
The $16,500 scholarship is awarded to an outstanding and respected individual, who has aspirations to achieve and perform at the highest level, and who is capable of promoting leadership and inspiring fellow Finsia members and others within the industry.
The successful applicant can choose to use the scholarship towards the cost of attending any leadership or professional development program, anywhere in the world.
The scholarship is judged on the following criteria:
- Professional accomplishment
- Community and social responsibility
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
Suitable candidates will be those who are in or who aspire to senior leadership roles within the industry.
Applicants must be:
- a current Finsia member
- nominated by a Finsia member
- supported by a senior manager from the applicant’s current workplace.

Vivek will travel to France in October this year and in January 2013 to take part in the INSEAD program.
