The AGM will also feature special guest, Blake Briggs, CEO, Financial Services Council sharing his personal insights into the current situation in the financial services industry and reflections on key priorities to support and grow the financial services industry.
Blake became CEO of the Financial Services Council in January 2022 after re-joining the FSC as Deputy CEO in 2020, where he was responsible for policy and advocacy on behalf of FSC members.
Blake has extensive experience as an advocate for the financial services industry. Blake has previously worked for Westpac Group, as Head of Government Affairs for Wealth, and at the FSC as Senior Policy Manager for Superannuation. Blake has also worked as a policy adviser and industrial advocate for the Commonwealth Government and the NSW Business Chamber.
He is also a member of the Board of Advice for the University of Sydney Business School's Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies. Blake holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor in Commerce (liberal studies) from the University of Sydney.
Online voting for the Board elections opened on Monday, 2 May 2022 and closed on 17 May 2022. Please note that only professional members are eligible to vote (A FIN, SA FIN, F FIN and SF FIN). A total of six (6) nominations have been received for four (4) positions on the Board.

- You will only be able to vote for four (4) candidates.
- Once you have logged in, you will not be able to save and return to your vote.
- You can use the ‘next’ and ‘back’ buttons to move forwards and backwards through the voting system.
To begin voting
Once you click on the “Start voting” button below, you will see a screen on ON-LINE VOTING system run by Vero Voting. The landing page asks you for your username and password.
Your username is your FINSIA member number.
Your unique password will be emailed separately to you by Vero Voting.
Once you have entered a valid username and password you will be taken to the ballot paper
