Julie Scurfield, National IFA and Accounting Channel Manager, Vanguard Julie Scurfield is the National IFA & Accounting Channel Manager with Vanguard Australia. In this role, Julie is responsible for developing the long-term business strategy and value proposition for, and increasing Vanguard’s presence in, the Independent Financial Advisers (IFA) and Accounting market in Australia. Julie joined Vanguard in October 2011 as a Business Development Manager. As a representative of Vanguard, Julie was responsible for implementing and positioning Vanguard’s investment philosophy, product suite and portfolio construction solutions to Financial Advisers and Brokers in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Julie was appointed to her current role in May 2016. Julie has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Vanguard she held business development and advising roles at IOOF, Commonwealth Bank, and the Industry Funds sector. Julie has a Masters in Applied Finance (MFP), Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (FP).
