Chair:<br><strong>Ivor Ries, Technology and Media Analyst, Morgans Financial Ltd</strong><br>
Ivor Ries is the technology and online media analyst for Morgans Financial Ltd. Over the past 14 years as a financial analyst he has covered major online success stories such as REA Group, SEEK and Carsales.com and has also seen many would-be challengers drop by the wayside. He has thus become a keen student on what it makes to succeed in online media and technology, and also has learned how to spot the warning signs of a technology business that is losing momentum. Prior to working in the financial industry, Ivor had a 21-year career in the world of business journalism, reporting and commentary for The Age, BRW and The Australian Financial Review. <br><br>
<br><strong>Florian Dehne, Head of Strategy, Seek.com.au</strong> <br>
Florian Dehne is a strategic advisor and digital business leader who is currently Head of Strategy for SEEK’s domestic employment business. His focus is on pricing, adjacent growth opportunities and product strategy for major new product lines, and he is also a member of SEEK’s Australian management team.
Prior to joining SEEK, Florian worked at L.E.K. Consulting for 10 years, where he was a partner and advised major organisations on service innovation and growth. He started his career at Bertelsmann in his native Germany, where he helped to establish a new digital media business.
Florian is also a founder and current chairman of Deutsche Schule Melbourne, an independent German-English bilingual school that’s part of the network of 140 German international schools.<br><br><strong>Cameron McIintyre, Chief Operating Officer, Carsales.com.au</strong><br>
Cameron McIntyre has been the Chief Operating Officer at carsales.com Limited (ASX:CAR) since October 2014, prior to which he was the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for more than seven years which included the IPO of the company in 2009. Prior to carsales Cameron held the role of Finance Director at Sensis and has over 20 years of finance and operational experience. He has been a Non-Executive Director at iCarAsia Limited (ASX:ICQ) since April 2013. Cameron holds Degree in Economics from La Trobe University, Melbourne, is a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).<br><br>
<strong>Stuart Stoyan, Founder & CEO, MoneyPlace
Stuart Stoyan is founder and CEO of peer-to-peer lender MoneyPlace.
MoneyPlace is an online marketplace that connects credit worthy borrowers with investors. MoneyPlace enables borrowers to save money with fairer and lower rates, and investors to earn more through higher fixed income returns. <br><br>
MoneyPlace is comprised of a team of former bankers who understand the risk inherent in lending. By combining this knowledge with the latest technology, MoneyPlace is able to originate, assess and manage loans more efficiently than a bank, sharing the large bank profits between borrowers and investors.
Prior to founding MoneyPlace, Stuart was the Head of Strategy for NAB Business. Prior to that he was a management consultant, helping large corporate clients solve complex problems across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United States. Key areas of focus included market entry, growth and performance improvement with an emphasis on retail and business banking.
<br><br><strong>Owen Wilson, Chief Financial Officer, REA Group</strong><br>
Owen Wilson is Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed REA Group, responsible for leading all aspects of the finance portfolio for the Group across Australia, Europe and Asia. <br><br>
Prior to joining REA Group in September 2014, Owen was Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Chandler Macleod Group Ltd, leading the Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions functions, Owen was responsible for financial and ASX reporting, management reporting, performance management of the businesses, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, along with treasury and cash flow management.
Previously, Owen was with ANZ for 15 years in several senior strategic roles, including Head of Retail Banking – Asia, responsible for ANZ's retail banking branches, credit card businesses and banking partnerships across Asia. Prior to this Owen had a successful career with KPMG in Melbourne and London.<br><h4>
