Please join FINSIA for our special Join the Crowd - Crowd Source Funding Panel Presentation.
The topic for discussion will be equity based crowdfunding and the opportunities it presents for Queensland businesses.
Crowd Sourced Equity Funding (CSEF) is a new fundraising approach that allows entrepreneurs to raise funds - up to $5 million per year - from a large number of individuals in return for equity in their company, with lower disclosure costs than traditional public equity offers.
Our panel will discuss:
How equity crowdfunding works
How businesses can use equity crowdfunding to grow
Issues to consider when making a crowdfunding offer
Success stories and ideas for startup businesses
This discussion will be led by Alan Crabbe, Cofounder of leading crowdfunding platform Pozible, and Phil Vickery from K&L Gates, a leading global law firm.
Our panelists will include:

This report was the first of its kind and has become a blueprint for UK platforms to report investor performance. It is also used by the UK regulator to monitor performance.
