Despite a lot of hype, financial data in the financial services world remains of poor quality and is getting more expensive and opaque. At this roundtable event for FINSIA's Senior Members, we will examine why rapid advances in technology and certain types of data are not being used by investment teams.
Why are investors failing to capitalize on the machine revolution?
As data and technology are advancing, is the financial services industry being left behind?
Does the financial services industry need big data or just good data?
Are we exploiting skills from a new tech savvy generation entering the financial services industry?
How do we deal with new data requirements, for example to support ESG reporting?
How can the collaboration between humans and computers be improved?
